Jeremy Tick has lived a lot of places. Boston. New York. Los Angeles. Pittsburgh. He built a career across fashion, entertainment, business and entrepreneurship, always surrounded by people, culture and beautiful things.
Then he came to Detroit and found something he hadn’t found anywhere else: home.
That sense of belonging is at the core of From the Heart. Jeremy believes restoration starts by seeing the beauty already here and putting resources behind the people and places making life in Detroit richer.
He brings his own lens to that work, of course. A little glamour. A lot of hospitality. Great storytelling. Beautiful experiences. And a lifetime of relationships he now wants to put to work for the city that gave him a place to belong.

Neal Williams
CO-FOUNDER
Neal Williams is a Detroit native, licensed general contractor and founder of Something New Painting & Renovation. For nearly three decades, he has built his business around craftsmanship, trust and a simple belief: good work should leave something better than you found it.
That same belief shapes his role at From the Heart. Neal brings a deep understanding of Detroit, its neighborhoods and the people who call them home. Where Jeremy brings relationships, storytelling and vision, Neal brings roots, practicality and a lifetime of experience turning ideas into something real.
Together, they founded From the Heart around a shared belief that investing in people and community can create something lasting.
